House Committee on Ways and Means Internship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Majority Staff of the House Committee on Ways and Means internship program. We are currently seeking reliable and professional individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

The Committee is responsible for tax, health, trade, social security, welfare, and other important policy issues. An internship with Ways and Means provides students with the unique opportunity to learn about the legislative process and experience, first-hand, the operations of this crucial Congressional Committee.

As an intern with the Committee on Ways and Means, you will assist staff in research assignments within the Committee’s jurisdiction, prepare for hearings, assist with administrative support, and take on special projects. Much of the work you will do is actual work performed on a daily basis by our Committee professional staff.

Full and part-time positions are available throughout the year. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Internships during the school year last a full semester.

Please complete and return the application, along with your resume, to the email address listed below.
