The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is a premier federal law enforcement agency that is nationally-accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).  It is our job to maintain a safe and inviting environment for all who work in and visit the U.S. Capitol Complex, while at the same time, protecting the greatest symbol of democracy, the U.S. Capitol.
