    This year the Library has invited Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), to deliver the Kissinger lecture. Mme. Lagarde will be interviewed by Margaret Brennan of Face the Nation on CBS News after her keynote.

    Abel Buell’s New and Correct Map of the United States of North America is the first map of the newly independent United States compiled, printed, and published in America by an American.
