How to shake the holiday stress—cross-country skiing in gorgeous Alaska scenery. I got my cross-country skis in High School. Still going strong!

The National Quantum Initiative Act was passed in the Senate last week. This legislation will accelerate quantum R&D & help secure U.S. leadership in quantum. Looking forward to it passing in the House this week so can sign into law!

I was disappointed to learn that is stepping down at the end of the year. He has been a strong partner for western states and for Alaska, in particular.

After years of frustration by Alaskans with the Department, came in and took a very different approach – he listened to us, built a great team, and worked with us to advance our priorities.

I also thank & appreciate all we’ve worked on together, including our broad energy bill. Even as our partnership on the cmte comes to a close, our work together isn't done. I look forward to closing on a strong note with the passage of a bipartisan lands package.
