  2. In , we have the 4th highest rate of residents living in poverty in the country. This is unacceptable. One full-time job should be enough for our working men and women to keep a roof over their heads and provide for their families.

  4. While makes billions of dollars in profits every year, many of their workers in and across the country are living in poverty - forced to work two or three jobs just to make ends meet due to a high cost of living.

    Our bipartisan legislation makes a necessary technical fix to existing law & provides access to ID cards, which will make it easier to apply for healthcare services, buy or rent a home, get a quality education & more, relieving uncertainty for COFA migrants who call Hawai‘i home
