I voted for the short-term Continuing Resolution to fund certain government agencies and that provided $5 billion toward additional border security.

Violent, criminal gangs like MS-13 are an increasing problem and remain a critical threat to our nation. We must build the wall now and that’s why I was pleased that this spending bill included $5 billion for additional wall construction and enhanced border security.

While the Democrats attempted to hold government spending hostage over their dangerous pursuit of open borders and amnesty, the House majority stood firm with President Trump on critical border security funding.
