Rep. Ruben J. Kihuen released the following statement commemorating the 154th anniversary of the State of Nevada’s admission to the Union:
“Whether it’s your destination or your home, today we celebrate growth, progress, and all that Nevada has to offer. I’m proud to be from this place of opportunity—one that gave my family a chance to succeed 25 years ago. In the past year we’ve seen expansion in many areas, including sports, agriculture, culture, and the arts. I look forward to continuing to serve hardworking Nevadan’s on our path to preserve and grow the things that make the Silver State great.”
