President Trump Signs First Step Act into Law
WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump has signed the First Step Act into law.
The bipartisan justice reform bill introduced by Reps. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) represents one of the most significant overhauls of the federal criminal justice system in a generation. Collins spoke with the president in the Oval Office about why this legislation is historic.
