As a former Alaskan it makes me sad and angry that so many Alaskans will support this. And when another spill happens—Exxon Valdez anyone?—y’all will whine & ask for help. Y is it fisheries never seem to get the respect they deserve? Too many Texans living there now?

I’d bet you aren’t an Alaskan but a transplant who works on the slope or in oil. There r still a hell of a lot of ALASKANS who depend on fisheries & the dividend that oil companies provide to all of you non Alaskans is a payoff pure & simple. It’s ridiculous that a state 1/

I was born and raised in Homer and yes I do work on the slope along with most of my family who used to commercial fish and got out when it

This will not drop the price at the pump. With the US having limited land and resources compared to Russia and Canada it seems a strategic reserve is needed but who cares, He who can move his army last wins unless we nuke the earth.
