Committees and Caucuses

In Congress, I serve on two committees and four subcommittees.

On the Committee of Financial Services, I serve as Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Securities and Investment; and I sit on the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance.

On the Committee on Science, Space and Technology, I sit on the Subcommittee on Research and Technology; and the Subcommittee on Energy.

In addition to committee work, I have the distinct pleasure of serving on several commissions.

On the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, I currently serve as the Co-Chairman.

On the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, also known as Helsinki Commission, I serve as one of 21 commissioners.

On the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, I serve as one of nine commissioners.
