BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07), one of the congressional champions of the STOP School Violence Act, announced today the Township of Berkeley Heights has been awarded $297,673 in federal funds for major school security upgrades authorized through the new law. Lance stopped by Town Hall Thursday to relay the news.

FLEMINGTON, N.J. – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced he will hold his annual Service Academy Information Fair for Seventh Congressional District high school students on Saturday, June 16 at Raritan Valley Community College. Lance’s annual event allows students to meet with academy officials to learn more about the admissions process and how to pursue their interests in serving the Nation.
Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) visited the Long Hill FORCE Robotics Club last week to emphasize the importance of STEM education as well as to urge the students to participate in the Congressional APP Challenge. During the meeting Lance commended the students for participating in a program that will hone and enhance their technical skills.
