    We know we have to take drastic action to reduce carbon dioxide emissions if we want to avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change. A fee and dividend system provides the right incentive for everyone throughout the entire economy to make the right choices.

    The last two terms I introduced the strongest House bill ever to tackle . I will reintroduce my Climate Solutions Act in Jan. Mandates 100% clean energy by 2050; 80% renewables by 2040; and 40% renewables by 2030. Also creates stringent energy efficiency standards.
