(WASHINGTON, DC) – Representative Conor Lamb (D-PA-18) and Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) introduced the bipartisan Military Learning for Credit Act to help veterans obtain college credit for prior military learning and training, increasing their chances of earning a degree.

Congressman Lamb served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2009-2013 and continues to serve as a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Today, Congressman Lamb is using his personal knowledge and experience to help veterans as a member of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. In this spirit, Congressman Lamb is working to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and honor Vietnam Veterans.

HOUSE COMMITTEE ON VETERANS’ AFFAIRS APPOINTS CONGRESSMAN LAMB AS RANKING MEMBER ON NEW SUBCOMMITTEE ON TECHNOLOGY MODERNIZATION

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (HVAC) approved the creation and leadership of a new Subcommittee on Technology Modernization, appointing Congressman Conor Lamb (PA-18) as Ranking Member. This appointment was approved by a vote of the membership of the HVAC Committee. The Technology Modernization Subcommittee will focus on oversight of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) technology projects, including the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Modernization program.
