Reporting damages helps to identify county or region-specific services available for assistance. An accurate and timely assessment of damages in a disaster also helps local and state officials make the case for federal assistance if needed.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman Conor Lamb (PA-18) issued the following statement on H.Con.Res.119: “This resolution is exactly the kind of political nonsense that I came to Washington to change. If we were actually voting on a bill that did what this resolution says and caused so much damage to our economy, of course I would oppose it. But make no mistake: this isn’t serious policy. We were sent here to make laws, not pass meaningless resolutions.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman Conor Lamb (PA-18) emphasized the importance of keeping Pennsylvania’s nuclear plants online to the Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry, and in a letter sent to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), earlier today. Congressman Lamb proposed working with Secretary Perry on a solution to address the pending closure of nuclear plants in the Commonwealth and highlighted the importance of the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station, which is in danger of prematurely closing.
