Biography

Congressman Conor Lamb was sworn in to the United States House of Representatives on April 12, 2018 to represent Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district, which includes parts of Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington and Greene Counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Congressman Lamb previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Justice Department's Pittsburgh office. In this position, he prosecuted violent crimes and drug trafficking and helped establish the office as a national leader in the fight against the heroin epidemic. Congressman Lamb served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2009-2013 and continues to serve as a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. 

Congressman Lamb's priorities in Congress include protecting Social Security and Medicare as well as fighting for good jobs and strong unions.  Congressman Lamb is also determined to make health care more affordable and to take aggressive action to combat the heroin epidemic.

Congressman Lamb is using his own personal knowledge and experience to help veterans as a member of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.  He is also working to improve our nation by providing new insight as a member of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

Conor Lamb is 33 years old and resides in his home town of Mt. Lebanon.  He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School (2002) and of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2006, 2009).
