Veterans

Caring for our veterans is far more than thanking them for their service. As veterans return home from overseas, our nation has an obligation to assist them in preparing to reenter into civilian life, including ensuring affordable healthcare, access to earned benefits, and the skills and training needed to fill both the jobs of today and tomorrow. To that end, Brian has introduced H.R. 2169, the Veterans Education Flexibility Act, which would eliminate the deadlines for veterans to use the educational benefits they have earned.  Brian is also committed to help end the backlog for VA benefits and reducing the unacceptably high unemployment rate for returning veterans.
