The Bipartisan Task Force to Combat the Heroin Epidemic has developed this toolkit in conjunction with the Addiction Policy Forum to connect families impacted by addiction with evidence based resources around prevention, treatment and recovery.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman MacArthur today announced that his office is now accepting applications for spring internships in his Washington, D.C., Toms River and Marlton offices.

Student interns will work with staff on various constituent service and communications projects, as well as assist with legislative research. Both New Jersey and Washington, D.C. internships provide students with first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and the countless other functions of a congressional office.

The Congressional App Challenge is designed to engage students' creativity and encourage their participation in STEM education fields, allowing students to compete by creating and exhibiting their software application, or "app," for mobile, tablet or computer devices on a platform of their choice.

High school students from the Third Congressional District are invited to compete in the 2016 Congressional Art Competition.

The selected artwork from the district of Rep. Tom MacArthur will have the honor of being displayed in the United States Capitol for a full year. Additionally, the winning artist will be invited to a reception in the United States Capitol with winners from across the country.
