Thank you for your interest in attending one of our nation's military academies. As a 1980 graduate of West Point, I take special pride in nominating promising young men and women to the United States military academies. It is my pleasure to consider you for a nomination to one of these prestigious institutions.

To be eligible for a nomination, you must be an American citizen, at least 17 years old and no more than 23 years old on July 1, not married, under no legal obligation to support a child, and a legal resident of the 15th District of Illinois.

Please note that you must also apply directly to the academy to which you are applying as well as the nomination process through my office.
