Davis Reiterates Condemnation of FCC Action to Kill Net Neutrality

Congresssman Danny K. Davis condemned today's FCC action to kill net Net Neutrality.  Davis noted that "the Open Internet Order instituted under the Obama Administration ensured that there would continue to be a level playing field where consumers would have access to the content and services they want – and online businesses would be able to compete fairly.  The Open Internet Order is the 21st century expression of freedom of the press and speech."  Davis, one of the 118 Members of Congress who wrote to Chairman Pai calling on him to reverse his effort to dismantle the Open Internet Order indicated that he is now prepared to co-sponsor legislation under the Congressional Review Act to overturn today’s order and restore Net Neutrality as soon as possible.
