The D.C. office may be able to help you obtain tickets to many of Washington’s most popular attractions and historical landmarks, including the White House, the National Archives and the Pentagon. The Congressman’s office can also schedule tours of the U.S. Capitol and provide passes to the House and Senate Galleries.

It is important to note that tour hours and ticket availability vary throughout the year, so please contact Congressman Sarbanes’ D.C. office at least 8-12 weeks in advance of your trip. Also, please be aware that due to the high volume of ticket and tour requests that are received, the Congressman’s office is not able to guarantee the approval of your request.

White House Tickets


Obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult. It is very important to follow the below guidelines for your application to be considered.

The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:
 
  • Tours must be requested at least three weeks in advance.
  • Tours are only available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

White House tours may be submitted up to three months in advance, and no later than three weeks before the requested tour date.

Each person in your tour party must submit security information to the White House via an email link from the White House Visitors Office.

What are these options?
