Carter Announces Funding for Five Additional Barrack Renovations at Ft. Hood
10/31/18Today, Congressman John Carter (TX-31) announced $61 million in funding to renovate five additional barracks at Ft. Hood. These barracks are rated at Q4, the lowest possible quality rating. Last month, Congressman Carter toured barracks that were under renovation with Chairman Mac Thornberry of the Armed Services Committee, and stressed the importance of authorizing and funding barracks renovations, as well as motorpool and hangar construction.< Read more > -
Carter Pledges Support for Bill that Will Ensure Social Security Fairness for Teachers, Firefighters, and Police Officers
10/18/18Congressman John Carter (TX-31) has pledged his support for Congressman Kevin Brady's Equal Treatment of Public Servants Act by cosponsoring the legislation.
