Small Business Advisory Council
Congressman Pete Olson invites all small businesses in the 22nd District of Texas to have a representative apply to participate in the Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC). The goal of SBAC is to advise Olson on federal policy issues that impact the small business community. This is an opportunity for the Congressman to hear directly from small businesses and learn their needs, and for small businesses to learn more about working with the federal government. Seven representatives will be selected to serve on the Advisory Council, which will hold four roundtables over the next year. The roundtables will be open to all small businesses in TX-22 and will address topics including technology, cyber security, intellectual property, obtaining grants, workforce development and education, and doing business with the government. Only representatives from small businesses within TX-22 are eligible to apply. Completed applications are due to the Pearland office by August 4th. Electronic submissions are preferred.
