Interested in learning about the legislative process and how a congressional office functions – all while gaining valuable experience?  Interns in the Washington, DC office will research legislation, attend hearings and briefings, and answer constituent letters and calls about the many and diverse issues before the House.

Our office is committed to assigning our interns to policy areas that interest them.

Interns will be given a monthly stipend. The internship program runs throughout the year for undergraduate and graduate students, or recent graduates. The hours are flexible and can accommodate students' course schedules, but are generally 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Oregon

Interested in learning about how an in-district congressional office works? Interns in the Beaverton office will assist the outreach staff and caseworkers, research local and national policy issues, help with constituent communication through mail and phone calls, and attend meetings with the Congresswoman – all while gaining valuable experience.

Our office is committed to assigning our interns to policy areas that interest them.

Interns will be given a monthly stipend. The internship program runs throughout the fall, spring, or summer terms for high school seniors or college students. The hours are flexible and can accommodate students' course schedules. 

Applications for the summer 2019 internship are due by March 22nd, 2019.
