Capuano Participates in Boston Private Industry Council's Job Shadow DayFebruary 24, 1999 -- 8th District Representative Michael Capuano recently participated in the Boston Private Industry Council's Job Shadow Day with Samba Jigba, a Dorchester resident and Charlestown High School senior. The program connects high school students with individuals from a variety of different professions. The student then spends part of a day with his or her host, learning about their job responsibilities. "This program allows young people to learn about a variety of different professions so that when it comes time for them to choose a career path, they have been exposed to several options. I enjoyed talking with Samba about Congress and look forward to participating in the program next year," Congressman Capuano stated. |
