Today I spoke on the floor in recognition of National Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month. I was proud to introduce H.R. 4221, the CARE for Tourette Syndrome Act to expand NIH research to grasp a better understanding of Tourette Syndrome. Tourette Syndrome is an often misdiagnosed and stigmatized disorder that impacts millions of individuals and families across America. In honor of Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month, I urge my colleagues to join the effort to increase awareness of Tourette Syndrome.
