The Bipartisan Disabilities Caucus hosted the third installment in a series of briefings to discuss the history, purpose, and vision of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it pertains to veterans. This briefing focused on the role the ADA's employment protections play in ensuring equal opportunities in the workforce for veterans living with disabilities. Speakers described the importance of ADA protections for disabled veterans and the practical application of the ADA for veterans with disabilities who are seeking employment. They also provided firsthand accounts of how these protections assist disabled veterans in the workplace.
