Agriculture and family farms are an important part of the economy and character of the Second District.

My number one priority in Congress is to work and implement a legislative agenda that supports long-term economic growth through increasing at-home manufacturing, innovation, and investments in our infrastructure.
Seniors worked hard to raise the younger generations, and I am adamant about supporting their needs.
As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I believe that it is my duty to work to improve services for Washington’s women and men in uniform and veterans.
You cannot have a big league economy with little league infrastructure. I am committed to Investing in transportation and infrastructure creates jobs and keeps the economy moving.
The Second District is home to more than 75,000 veterans, including many veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I believe it is my duty to work to improve services for Washington’s women and men in uniform.
I will continue to work to expand women’s rights, especially when it comes to guaranteeing a woman’s ability to make her own health care decisions, ensuring women get equal pay for equal work and pushing for stronger economic opportunity.
