    HOWEVER - the next year he and I performed "Time of Your Life" by Green Day. Moments before stepping on stage, a friend walked by with her violin & she agreed to join us to play the violin part. Absolutely crushed that performance. A HS highlight for sure.

    My HS garage band performed "One Step Closer" by Linkin Park at the talent show. Our lead singer's voice was still changing, so the especially scream-y parts ended up including a lot of screechy vocal cracking. Rough few weeks in the halls for all of us after that.
