WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) today applauded Senate approval of Holly Teeter, of Lenexa, to serve as U.S. Federal District Court Judge for the District of Kansas. Her nomination was approved out the Senate Judiciary Committee with strong bipartisan support on January 18, 2018.

“Holly will be an excellent district court judge in our state,” Robert said. “Her intellect, integrity, and character continue to impress me, and her broad range of professional experience will serve her well in this role. I am pleased my colleagues have agreed that she will do an excellent job ensuring Kansans are treated fairly in the federal courtroom.”

“Confirming judges is one of the most important and lasting duties of the United States Senate. These appointments last long after any one term. I am so proud of the qualified nominees, such as Ms. Teeter, who will uphold our Constitution as our Founding Fathers envisioned and serve as fair, impartial judges that our judicial system needs. I urge my colleagues to confirm our other outstanding nominees so we can restore fairness in our court system.”
