Dianne Feinstein, co-chairman, will hold a hearing of the Caucus on International Narcotics Control to examine U.S. counternarcotics efforts in Colombia and how these efforts should be adapted in light of the staggering increases in coca production in the country.

Drug Caucus to Hold Hearing on Drug Trafficking Across the Southwest Border, Oversight of U.S Counterdrug Assistance to Mexico

WASHINGTON -- The Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control, led by Sen. Chuck Grassley and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, will hold a hearing entitled, “Drug Trafficking Across the Southwest Border and Oversight of U.S Counterdrug Assistance to Mexico.”

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the leaders of the Caucus on International Narcotics Control, today announced the caucus will hold a hearing on the quota system used to manage controlled substances in medicine in light of a new report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) showing problems in the way the program is managed.
