The U.S. Department of Labor has been informed of the possible fraudulent use of the Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) name and staff member names to initiate fraudulent purchase requests.
Please note that VETS does not perform procurement actions directly to vendors and is only authorized to request for quote in sourcing supplies or services. Unsolicited phone calls or other correspondence regarding procurement and/or purchase order requests from VETS should be reported to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) at 202-693-6999 or 1-800-347-3756, or by filling out an online inquiry at https://www.oig.dol.gov/hotline.htm.
