Yesterday, I joined Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, and state and local leaders to survey Hurricane Michael devastation in Southwest Georgia. We heard directly from farmers and producers who suffered significant crop losses. Georgians Stepping Up

Across our state, Georgians are stepping up to assist during Hurricane Florence. Here are a few examples: 1. 7,000+ Troops More than 7,000 service members are standing by to help with Hurricane Florence. About 80 tactical vehicles are staged at Fort Stewart. Hunter Army Airfield has 35 helicopters available for search-and-rescue operations. At Moody Air Force Base, six HH-60 helicopters, two HC-30 aircraft, and four pararescue teams are ready.
