Families are aided in raising healthy, happy children when an array of supports and services is available in their community to assist them in meeting basic needs and gaining parenting and life skills. Families with limited resources, or those facing additional challenges, may need specialized services to help ensure positive outcomes.
The ability to provide a comprehensive array of accessible, individualized services to meet the unique needs of children and families is one of the outcomes on which States are evaluated through the Child and Family Services Reviews (CFSRs).
