  3. Thank you to Mercer Island High School for allowing me to hear firsthand from teachers and students about the different programs their school has to offer, like Mr. Bryant’s radio class. It’s important to provide classes that allow students to explore different career paths!

    Mitch McConnell is refusing to take responsibility for the GOP’s disastrous fiscal policy. By forcing the partisan they have ballooned the deficit & are using that as an excuse to slash funding for vital programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

    I am extremely concerned with reports that the Trump administration may be considering the use of military bases to ship coal and gas. This is a clear attempt to circumvent environmental oversight and protections.

    Like every American, healthcare is personal for me. My family lost our health insurance after my father passed away & my mom later died in part because she couldn’t afford the medication she needed.
