CONGRESSWOMAN FUDGE JOINS NEWS CONFERENCE WITH CHEF COLICCHIO TO DENOUNCE $40 BILLION IN PROPOSED SNAP CUTS

WASHINGTON, DC– As the Chair of Congressional Black Caucus and on behalf of her constituents, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) will join Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA-12), Chef Tom Colicchio, House Democrats and leading anti-hunger advocates at a press conference today condemning the Republican plan to slash $40 billion from the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
