Restoring Fiscal Discipline to Washington

You deserve a government that spends its money as wisely as you do.  Washington needs accountability, transparency, and more leadership to get our country’s fiscal house in order.

For too long, Washington has spent money it doesn’t have without any regard for the future.  In just my first 60 days in office, I voted against $1.5 trillion in deficit spending.  A multi-trillion dollar national debt is threatening to bankrupt our children and grandchildren’s future.

We need to sunset unnecessary government programs, eliminate wasteful Washington spending, and balance the budget so we can lower the national debt.  Minnesota families and small businesses are making sacrifices and cutting costs, and Washington must do the same.
