Washington, D.C.– Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) released the following statement after voting to pass legislation that would ensure any potential nuclear deal with Iran would be subject to Congressional review.  

“Congress is united in its understanding that a nuclear Iran poses a threat to the United States, Israel, and stability in both the Middle East and around the globe,” said Paulsen. “Any potential deal negotiated by the Administration should be fully reviewed by the legislative branch to ensure it’s consistent with American interests both now and into the future.”

Congressman Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, the bicameral Joint Economic Committee, and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
