Paulsen Questions Commerce Secretary on Trade Legislation

Washington, D.C.– Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) questioned U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker at today’s Ways and Means hearing entitled, “Expanding American Trade with Accountability and Transparency.” Paulsen asked Secretary Pritzker to clarify the way that Trade Promotion Authority would strengthen the United States’ position when it comes to intellectual property and the digital economy.

Congressman Paulsen serves on the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade and is co-chair of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) Caucus.
