Paulsen Appearance at Wayzata High School Marks 200th School Visit

Washington, D.C.– Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) will speak to students at Wayzata High School at 9:30am on Tuesday morning, marking his 200th school visit since taking office in 2009. The Congressman has visited classrooms in elementary, middle, and high schools around the Third Congressional District where he talks to students about Congress and answers questions. Tomorrow, the Congressman will speak to 12th-grade students in Wayzata’s ‘Economics—Public Policy’ course.

“Since I was first elected, I’ve made it a priority to visit local schools and talk with students about Congress and how their government works,” said Paulsen. “I’ve found that some of the best questions and comments come from these students as they learn about our political system. It’s a testament to the great work of the teachers and school administrators in Minnesota that we have such bright, knowledgeable students.”

Congressman Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, the bicameral Joint Economic Committee, and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
