Last night, we were again reminded of the challenges we face living in a free society. We were also reminded of how well prepared all New Yorkers – our citizens and our first responders – are to deal with a crisis. I am relieved and grateful to hear that all of the victims are out of the hospital, and my thoughts are with them as they recover from their injuries.

WASHINGTON, DC– Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (NY-12) and Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-12), co-chairs of the Congressional Caucus on Hellenic Issues, yesterday hosted a joint meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt, who will be sworn in on September 28, to discuss the future of Greece and the relationship between Greece and the United States.

New York Fashion Week 2016 is an excellent opportunity to appreciate what fashion means to New York’s bottom line.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (NY-12), was presented with a United States flag, New York State flag and Administrator’s coin by NASA Deputy Administrator Dr. Dava Newman today. The Congresswoman spoke to Dr. Newman about NASA’s programs and the need to encourage more young people to embrace STEM.
