Obamacare for Mortgages?

On January 8th, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) warned Congress that the new "Qualified Mortgage" regulations would make it more difficult for ordinary Americans to obtain a mortgage or purchase their first home.  Like Obamacare, the QM rule is a one-size-fits-all Washington mandate which interferes with your ability to make a sound financial decision with your bank.
