Congressman Weber is a member of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, where he serves as the Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee. The Science, Space, and Technology Committee has jurisdiction over NASA, the National Science Foundation, the National Weather Service, energy research and development programs at the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency, and all environmental standards and research programs. In addition to his responsibilities as Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee, he is also a member of the Subcommittee on the Environment. 

Congressman Weber is also a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, where he serves on the Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa as well as the Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats.
