PATERSON – In observation on our nation’s 234th birthday, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-8) today released the following statement.
“Today, we celebrate the birthday of our nation. We declare not only our independence, but our commitment to the values of the United States of America,” said Pascrell. “When things are tough, we help one another. That’s the basis of the United States of America. Many of our citizens are hurting and we’ve got to stand up and not get involved in ideological banter. This is the greatest country in the world. It’s our obligation and responsibility to keep it that way.”
