Washington, D.C.— Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) released the following statement in response to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ remarks on the Israeli synagogue attack that occurred on Tuesday:
Hendersonville, NC— Last week, Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) hosted three Veteran’s Solutions Seminars across the 11th District to provide practical assistance to veterans on issues ranging from driver’s license renewal to assistance with Veterans Affairs (VA) claims.
The U.S. Department of Justice announced this week that the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will receive the 2014 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS).
According to the Department of Justice, this CTAS grant will support the Eastern Band’s ability to provide equipment and training to meet the multiple public safety resource needs within the tribal community.
Washington, DC— Embattled former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official, Lois Lerner, granted an interview to Politico after months of refusing to testify before Congress on her role in the IRS political targeting scandal. In the interview, Lerner said she, “didn’t do anything wrong,” and expressed that she is proud of her career and what she did for the country.
Washington, DC— Congressman Mark Meadows(R-NC) introduced the Eliminating Pornography from Agencies Act, which would prohibit federal employees from accessing pornographic or explicit material on government computers and devices.
Washington, DC— On Tuesday evening, the Federal Records Accountability Act, H.R. 5170, introduced by Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC), passed the House unanimously.
