(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, a physician and member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, praised President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) as Secretary of Health and Human Services and Seema Verma, MPH as Administrator of the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Representative Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) as Secretary of Health and Human Services: “Dr. Price is a good man who cares deeply about patients and their access to quality healthcare,” said Bucshon. “As a physician with firsthand experience caring for patients, a leader on conservative healthcare policy, and Budget Committee Chairman, Dr. Price has both the practical and policy experience to lead the way at HHS.
