Rep. Walz Statement on Dr. Phil Roe

[Mankato, MN] – Rep. Walz released the following statement regarding the election of Dr. Phil Roe as Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee:

“I congratulate my friend and colleague Dr. Phil Roe on his election as Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee. I have had the honor of serving jointly with him as co-chairs of the House Invisible Wounds Caucus. His passion and work on behalf of men and women who have served in uniform has been critically important.  I believe veterans will be well served by his leadership.
