Click here to access our Washington DC tour form, which needs to be filled out in order to schedule various tours around Washington.  If you have any additional questions about this process, my staff can serve as a resource to you in booking tours for your trip. Please contact my office at (202) 225-2011. Below is information about two of the most popular tours, as well as a helpful link to information about other popular tourist sites in Washington.

The United States Capitol

General admission tickets for the United States Capitol are available Monday through Saturday on a first come first serve basis, so arrive early.  Tickets are distributed beginning at 8:00 am, and tours are conducted from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Please contact my office at (202) 225-2011 for information on tour times and to reserve your spot.

The White House

Tour requests may be submitted up to three months in advance, and no later than 21 days before the requested date, though requests should be made as soon as possible, particularly during peak seasons in April/May and December. Tours are typically scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30AM to 11:00AM, and Friday and Saturday from 7:30AM to 1:30PM. Up to three tour dates can be submitted as preferences for one White House Tour Request.

We are happy to assist constituents in requesting a reservation for a tour of the White House. Please be aware that because of security screening and other factors, White House tour availability is limited. Due to the nature of the President’s schedule, tours will not be confirmed more than two weeks in advance of the requested date and are subject to cancellation at any time. The White House makes the determination whether a tour can be reserved or not.
The White House will not permit changes to tour requests once they are submitted. Any changes require the request to be canceled and re-submitted.

Please contact my office at (202) 225-2011 for information on tour times and to request your spots.

Due to the upcoming change in Administration, tours requested for dates after January 19, 2017 cannot be guaranteed. Further guidance will be provided at a later date.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation

Since closing as a result of the attacks on September 11, 2001, the FBI has recently reopened tours of its Education Center located in the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Headquarters Building.  Tours are available Monday through Thursday at 9:00am and 10:00am. Firearms demonstrations are held at 10:30am.

To request a tour or for more information, please contact my office at (202) 225-2011 or submit a tour form found here.
