Congresswoman Beatty to Speak at Women in Banking Conference

On Friday, August 19th, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) will speak at the Ohio Bankers League’s (OBL) 2016 Women in Banking Conference. Beatty will highlight her personal and professional journey and discuss her work on the exclusive Financial Services Committee. In addition, she will talk about her role as a “bridge-builder” in today’s hyper political climate and the need for more diversity in the banking industry.

Background

The OBL is the trade association for the Ohio banking industry, and is Ohio’s only organization focused on meeting the needs of all banks and thrifts in the Buckeye State. OBL’s annual Women in Banking Conference is devoted to the development of women’s leadership, bringing successful female bankers from across the state together to learn, network and find inspiration.
