McCaul Statement on House Vote to Defund Obama Executive Amnesty
McCaul Statement on House Vote to Defund Obama Executive Amnesty WASHINGTON, DC – Today following the U.S. House of Representatives vote to defund President Obama’s executive orders on immigration Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement: McCaul: "Today, along with 235 of my colleagues, I voted to block funding to the President’s unilateral and unconstitutional executive amnesty. I supported the legislation because I agree with my constituents who are overwhelmingly opposed to the President’s actions. I hope the Senate will also pass the legislation and send a resounding message to the President that the American people and their representatives are opposed to not only his policies, but his desire to govern unilaterally." ###
