Alice Mary Robertson represented Oklahoma in the 67th Congress. During her term, she served on three committees: Expenditures, Indian Affairs, and Woman Suffrage. Her portrait was taken by Harris & Ewing, a respected photographic studio in Washington, D.C. In both behavior and dress, Robertson presented herself as hard-working and faithful to causes and constituents. Newspapers noted that she always dressed in black, as her portrait shows.
